For those impatient applicants, acceptance e-mails should be sent within 2 months, so you'll just have to be patient a little longer. Current assistants with 7 month contracts will be finishing their jobs within 2 months as well. Or even earlier in Zone B thanks to the vacation schedule. Most assistants have about 6 weeks of work left before spring vacation and before they return home. Ça passe trop vite, non ?
Canadians can still apply for the 2009-10 year until March 2, and Irish citizens have until March 31, but all other application deadlines have passed. If you missed out on this year, applications for 2010-11 should be up in October or November.
Another national day of grève has been called for Thursday, March 19. Apparently the January 29 strike wasn't enough to change the government's reforms so we're going to try again!
