cheque d'emploi

How does one get by on an assistant salary? And what about babysitting, tutoring, etc? Tricks and tips for making it on little cash.

cheque d'emploi

Postby SophieD » Mon Oct 05, 2009 10:21 pm

over illicit drinks tonight, sam mentioned that i could look into getting paid for my tutoring by using cheques d'emplois. i'm very happy getting paid in cash, but some of the families i work with are having financial trouble, and can't afford me anymore. sam suggested that they pay me using a cheque d'emploi, so they can get back half from the government.

in order to do this, would i need to get a SIRET number, or an APT or any other official sort of status? or can they literally just give me the check, and i cash it at my bank? and i won't have to pay taxes on it, since i still won't earn enough to pay taxes . . . correct? anything i'm missing here?

Yeah, someone answer her question please.

I find myself in the same boat.

I have two clients who are poor and want to know what I or they can do to...

- let them claim my services as tax-deductible expenses.
- let the government pay for half.

I want to do what I can to help them out.

If you know the English former assistant in Hautes Alpes that spoke at our convocation in Marseille, tell him to hit me up with an answer. If you have no idea who I'm talking about but know someone who knows the answer...

Please reply!

Much thanks!

Mille remerciements!
